I understand that coming over to get naked can be scary and frankly daunting!! I want you to feel comfortable choosing me as your photographer, so please do not be afraid to ask me questions. Below are some commonly asked questions from our clients.
I DON’T KNOW HOW TO POSE
I am told this ALL THE TIME! No need to worry, I got your back. I don’t expect you to walk in the door and know what you are doing. I will be guiding you into poses, telling you where to place your hand, where to look, this is my job!
DO I HAVE TO GET NAKED? DOES EVERYONE ELSE?
No, not everyone does. When you book your experience I send out a questionnaire to get to know you and the type of session you would like and we cover this very question. I ask your comfort level and this helps me with posing ideas and outfit choices to best suit you. One of our popular options is the white sheets look, as this gives an implied nude look and feel without seeing everything. If at the end of the white sheets look you are feeling comfortable and want to do some nudes, we can certainly do that
IS HAIR AND MAKE-UP INCLUDED?
All sessions include professional hair and make-up that is done by one of our amazing in house stylist.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
I encourage you to bring pieces that you feel comfortable in, that you love! Think Marie Kondo – does this outfit spark joy.. If no then ditch it girl. So bring along anything you feel confident and fierce in, whether that is an oversized knit, your partner’s work shirt, favourite sports guernsey, hell even your fav denim jeans and a white tank. If your partner plays baseball, then bring along his baseball bat! This shoot is all about you.
DO YOU PROVIDE OUTFITS?
I offer a client wardrobe with 150+ bodysuits ranging from xxs – 4xl, I do however recommend you still bring a couple options of your own. As part of studio policy all studio garments are to be worn with either nude underwear (supplied by yourself), or with hygienic liners, with any garments being washed right after the session.
WHO WILL BE AT MY SESSION?
It will just be myself in the room! I recommend against bring a friend as it can be distracting and take away from this being about you. Feel free to bring along your partner if you are wanting some couple shots, just let me know in advance if you would like to bring your partner.
WHERE WILL MY SESSION BE HELD?
All studio sessions are held at my home studio in Alkimos, Western Australia located 50 minutes north of Perth CBD.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SHOOT?
Once you have booked your session you will get direct access to my client exclusive prep guide, in here I share some of my top tips with you include hair removal, nails, tanning, what to wear, where to purchase garments, what to pack and so much more.
WILL MY IMAGES BE SHARED ONLINE?
I take all my clients privacy seriously! I WILL NOT share your images online without your signed permission. You have three different image release levels to select from; full release, anonymous release and no release, and I completely respect this decision
DO YOU USE PHOTOSHOP?
I will guide you through a series of poses designed to capture you in the best way possible, this means NO photoshopping required – your images will be all you! Each image is hand edited in my signature edit style, this includes removing any blemishes such as bruises, pimples and the adjustment of exposure & tones, cropping and removal of background distractions (tags on cushions, tags on lingerie, powerpoints etc.)
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SHOOT?
Girl, once we have finished shooting we will break for a quick 30min lunch break, trust me you will have earnt it! Whilst you are taking a break I will be preparing your gallery for viewing on the big screen. We will go through all the images at your same day viewing and ordering appointment. Here you will select your favourite images. I will then run through the collections, and any product add ons/upgrades such as additional digital images, wall art, or album upgrades. All payments will be finalised during your viewing and ordering session. The post-production process (editing images, ordering products) will begin once your payment has been finalised.
HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY IMAGES/PRODUCT?
Your gallery will be ready roughly 2-4 weeks after your session, products can take 6-8 weeks to arrive to the studio so if you require by a certain date then please book your session 8 weeks in advance to when you need products in hand by, and let me know!
DO YOU HAVE A RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION POLICY?
Yes, if for any reason you need to reschedule your session 30 days or more prior to your session date then a rescheduling fee of $175 is due, for any requests made less than 30 days prior to session date will occur a new date holding fee of $350.
NO SHOW POLICY
Unfortunately, due to this happening several times in the last year a new policy has been introduced. Both myself and my team of stylist block out dates/times for your experiences so if you fail to turn up to your session date/time then a fee of $400 will be charged to your card for not turning up.
